ATTENTION!! Please follow below information.
1. Please check Error and Warning message in Event Viewer before you start the test case and after you complete the test case, and report it to your team lead, then arrange to open defect, if needed.

2. Perform All Test in Battery Mode (Some of the test items need to perform in AC Mode, follow each Test Case).

3. All Test Activity should be performed with AMT Enabled as Default (applicable on vPro enabled systems).

4. Please check Usability / Cosmetic issues (correct sentence/appropriate display/etc.) and open defect, if needed.

Honeycomb - Known Limitations/Restrictions/Information
Limitations
1. 802.1x WiFi Network with WEP-EAP is displayed as 'Secured with WEP instead of 'Secured with WEP-EAP'. But once profile is saved/remembered, it is displayed as 'Secured with WEP-EAP'. This is permanent limitation (Defect Ref: ECR94324:BSP/TS:802.1x profile shows as WEP in Wifi Network list)

Information
1. Once the WiFi configuration is successfully registered and connected, the configuration can be exported from Android by plain text .lenovoconfig format or encrypted package file .lenovoconfigX format. Exported files can be used for next import into other Indigos. (Reference: Indigo Software Component Spec version 0.2, 3.1.3.3)
2. "Turn off WAN when connect to the WiFi" and "Allow switch to WAN when WiFi is not available without ask" items are still optional. Reassessment after WAN device plan is established. (Reference: Indigo Software Component Spec version 0.2, 4.1.4)

1. Connecting to a Wi-Fi network
1. On your Android tablet, tap Apps-->'Settings'.-->'Wireless and networks

2. Check Wi-Fi to turn it ON.'.

3. Select 'Wi-Fi Settings'.

4. Under Wi-Fi Network, confirm tablet scans for available Wi-Fi networks and displays the names of those it finds.

5. Tap a network to connect to it.

a. If the network is open, you are prompted to confirm that you want to connect to that network by touching Connect.

b. If the network is secured, you’re prompted to enter a password or other credentials

6. In the Wi-Fi settings, tap the name of the network you are connected to.


** When you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can touch its name in the Wi-Fi settings window for details

about the speed, security, address, and related information.

Note: The file extension supported for Android is Personal Information Exchange (file.p12). Change the file extension from .pfx to .p12

1. Copy the certificate in SD card.

2. Tap Apps > Settings

3. Select Location & Security-->Credential Storage

4. If 'Use secure credentials' is grayed out, tap Set Password otherwise go to step 7

5. Enter New and Confirm Password then Click OK

6. Confirm that 'Use secure credentials' got enabled

7. Insert SD Card to Android with certificate in the root directory

Note: Once the WiFi configuration is successfully registered and connected, the configuration can be exported from Android by plain text .lenovoconfig format or encrypted package file .lenovoconfigX format. Exported files can be used for next import into other Indigos.

Import Wireless Profiles to other Indigo machines
** Insert SD card with import package with .lenovoconfig or .lenovoconfigX format
1. Tap Apps > Settings
2. Select Wireless & networks
3. In Wireless & network settings > tap Wi-Fi checkbox to enable wireless
4. Select Wi-Fi settings
5. Select Import option
6. Select import package window will show the list of available profile to be imported
7. Select wireless profile to be imported.
8. If the selected wireless profile has a passphrase, enter the correct passphrase then choose OK twice.
9. Check if profile is successfully imported
10. Check if the imported wireless profiles were successfully connecting
When exported to:
SD card
The wireless profile will be exported to SD card

The wireless profile will be exported to machines internal memory
