ATTENTION!! Please follow below information.
1. Please check Error and Warning message in Event Viewer before you start the test case and after you complete the test case, and report it to your team lead, then arrange to open defect, if needed.

2. Perform All Test in Battery Mode (Some of the test items need to perform in AC Mode, follow each Test Case).

3. All Test Activity should be performed with AMT Enabled as Default (applicable on vPro enabled systems).

4. Please check Usability / Cosmetic issues (correct sentence/appropriate display/etc.) and open defect, if needed.

Known Limitations/Restrictions/Information

Limitations

1. Duplicity does not support tethering.(Ref ECR: ECR91785 )

2. LEAP & EAPFAST is not supported.

3. Duplicity does not support WEP-EAP

Restrictions

1.Current Duplicity release will not support more than one user at same time.

2. External USB devices cannot be used by Duplicity.

Information

1. The Duplicity mini card has a dedicated 802.11b/g/n WiFi adapter and antenna. Duplicity card does not support WAN

2.For homologation requirements, the radios on system WiFi and the mini card WiFi must not be simultaneously active for a period of more than 5 seconds. Duplicity shall be designed to ensure that this requirement is met.

3. The Duplicity mini card will control the Wireless LED on the system.

4. The SwitchManager sync’s Current WiFi SSID and configuration settings from Windows to Android

5. USB mass storage is visible to any Windows user who has logged in.

DUPLICITY IMAGE PREPARATION SUMMARY

Prerequisites:

Naginata System with Duplicity Card & supported BIOS & H8.

Windows 7 Operating system

Drivers needed:

Duplicity Drivers and Android Tools (USB0613 & AT0511)

Duplicity F/W AMSS release : 8MLAxxWW

Bootloader Image :8MLBXXWW

Duplicity card image :8MLDXXWW

Switch Manager : 8MLFXXWW

Image updation:

1. Unpack 8MLDXXWW.ZIP into [Image Dir].

2. Launch Command prompt with "Run as administrator" option and change directory to Desktop\AT0511

3. Execute ADBUSB.BAT

4. adb reboot bootloader

(NOTE) If mouse/Keyboard is locked, please put the system in S3 and wake up.

--> Lenovo IMM Fastboot Mode Device Driver software installed successfully popup message shows up.

7. Reboot the system.

Install PE Switch Manager:

1. Uninstall "Instant Media Mode" from Control Panel Program Uninstallation.

2. Run either setup(64) or setup(86) depending on your OS.

3. Now everything is done. Shutdown and boot again

Basic Function Verification
Connecting to a Wi-Fi network

1. On Android SE, tap Apps-->'Settings'.-->'Wireless and networks

2. Check Wi-Fi to turn it ON.'.

3. Select 'Wi-Fi Settings'.

4. Under Wi-Fi Network, confirm android scans for available Wi-Fi networks and displays the names of those it finds.

5. Tap a network to connect to it.

a. If the network is open, you are prompted to confirm that you want to connect to that network by touching Connect.

b. If the network is secured with WPA / WPA2 PSK, you’re prompted to enter a password. or other credentials

c. If the network is secured with 802.1xEAP, you're prompted to select EAP method, Phase 2 authentication, CA and User certificate (if required), Identity, anonymous identy and Password.

6. In the Wi-Fi settings, tap the name of the network you are connected to.

** When you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can touch its name in the Wi-Fi settings window for details

about the Status, Security, Signal strength, Link speed and IP address.

Modify a Wi-Fi Network

1. Under Settings-->Wireless & networks-->Wi-Fi Settings-->Wi-Fi Networks

2. Tap & hold a profile that is save/remembered in the list

3. Tap 'Modify network' in the dialog that opens.

Option 1:

1. Turn on Wi-Fi, if it’s not already on.

2. In the Wi-Fi settings screen, tap on any of the 'Remembered' network

3. A pop-up window will appear.

duplicity image tends to connect to that wireless access point automatically.

Power Management Operations
Suspend

1.The user presses Fn-F4, or an inactivity timer expires.Android enters sleep state

2.The EC remembers the environment, Android or Windows, that was previously active

3. When resume using Fn key or power button, the EC signals Android and Windows to wake up.

1. Copy the certificate in the shared storage of Windows and android which appears as USB mass storage device in Windows.

2. Tap Apps > Settings

3. Select Location & Security-->Credential Storage

4. If 'Use secure credentials' is grayed out, tap Set Password otherwise go to step 7

5. Enter New and Confirm Password then Click OK

6. Confirm that 'Use secure credentials' got enabled

7. From the pop-up window, "Extract from certificate.p12", Enter the password to extract the certificates.

8. Press OK

9. From the pop-up window, "Name the certificate", enter a name for the certificate to install.
