ATTENTION!! Please follow below information.
1. Please check Error and Warning message in Event Viewer before you start the test case and after you complete the test case, and report it to your team lead, then arrange to open defect, if needed.

2. Perform All Test in Battery Mode (Some of the test items need to perform in AC Mode, follow each Test Case).

3. All Test Activity should be performed with AMT Enabled as Default (applicable on vPro enabled systems).

4. Please check Usability / Cosmetic issues (correct sentence/appropriate display/etc.) and open defect, if needed.

Priority Inbox

Gmail sync for this account is ON/OFF
Indicates whether you have Gmail synchronization turned on for this account in the Account & Sync setting. Touch to open those settings.

Labels to sync
Opens the a screen where you can manage which conversations are synchronized.

Auto-download attachments
When checked, Gmail downloads attachments to messages when you receive them, rather than requiring you to explicitly download the attachments when you open the messages.

Email notifications
When checked, you receive a notification when you have new email.

Ringtone
Opens a dialog where you can select the ringtone to sound when you receive a new email notification, including the tablet’s default ringtone and a silent option.

Notify once
Check to receive a notification from Gmail only the first time you have new email since you last read your messages, rather than each time a new message arrives.

Signature
Opens a dialog where you can enter text to append to every message you send.

Gtalk Basic Function Test
Launching G-Talk and Signing In:
Confirm there is internet connection.

1. Touch the Talk icon in the Launcher or on the Home screen.
2. If you are not already signed into Talk, you’re prompted to sign into a Google Account you added to your tablet
3. Tap on Add Account
4. Enter Username and Password
5. Tap Next and Finish
6. Sign In to Gtalk account

Return to the Accounts screen:
1. Touch the Talk icon in the top-left corner of the Application bar.

Sign into multiple accounts:
1. On the Friends list, touch the current account at the top-left of the Application bar and then touch the account you want to sign into.

Invite a friend to chat:
1. Touch the Invite button in the Application bar.

Chat with a friend:
1. Touch a friend in your Friends list.
2. The chat screen opens.
3. Enter your message and touch the Return key on your keyboard (or touch the Send button).
4. Your chat session remains open until you end it.

Confirm Google Talk will launch without problem.
Confirm Google Talk will sign in without error message.
Confirm Friends list is displayed on the left and current status and other information is displayed in the main part of the screen.

Other Option Verification Test
Invite a friend to join a group chat:
1. On a text chat screen, touch the Chat Menu button and touch Add to chat.
2. Touch the name of the friend to invite.

Chat on or off the record:
1. On a text chat screen, touch the Chat Menu button and touch Go off record.
2. To resume saving text chats, the Chat Menu button and touch Stop chatting off the record.

Search for text in a chat:
1 Touch the Search button in the Application bar.
2 Enter the text you want to search for.
3 Touch the Return key on the keyboard.

Change your online status:
1. Touch your own entry at the top of your Friends list to open your Status screen.
2. Touch your picture to add or change an image, by taking a picture or picking one from Gallery.
3. Touch your current status message to enter a new status message.
4. Touch Change to a recently used status to open a menu of recent status messages you can touch to replace your current message.
5. Touch Clear history in the menu to erase your recent status messages.
6. Uncheck Allow video and voice chats if you only want to accept invitations to text chats.

Add a friend to your Friends list:
1. When viewing your Friends list, touch the Add friend button.
2. Enter your friend’s address and touch Send invitation.

View and accept an invitation to become a friend:
You receive a notification in the System bar and the invitation appears in your Friends list.
1. Touch the invitation.
2. Touch Accept.

View all friends or only those most popular with you:
1. In the Friends list, touch Menu in the Application bar and touch All friends.
2. To switch back to just the friends with whom you chat most frequently, touch Most popular in the menu.

Block a friend:
1. Touch a friend in the Friends list.
2. Touch the Chat Menu button to the right of the chat window and touch Block friend.

Mobile indicator
When checked, your friends see an outline of an android next to your name in their Friends list when you’re signed into Google Talk on a tablet or phone.

Set status to Away when the screen is turned off
When checked, your Talk status changes to Away when your screen turns off. When unchecked, your status is not changed.

IM notifications
Opens a dialog where you can set whether you prefer a dialog to open, a notification in the System bar, or neither, when you receive a text chat.

Notification ringtone
Opens a dialog where you can touch the ringtone to sound when you receive a text chat (or touch Silent).

Invitation notifications
Opens a dialog where you can set whether you prefer a dialog to open, a notification in the System bar, or neither, when you receive an invitation to become a friend in Talk.

Video chat notifications
Opens a dialog where you can set whether you prefer a dialog to open, a notification in the System bar, or neither, when you are invited to a video chat.

Video chat ringtone
Opens a dialog where you can touch the ringtone to sound when you receive a an invitation to a video chat (or touch Silent).

Blocked friends
Opens a list of friends you’ve blocked. Touch one to open a dialog where you can unblock the friend.

Clear search history
When you search in Talk, you see your previous searches, which you can touch as a quick way to search for those words again. You can touch this setting to erase that history, so no previous searches are shown until you search for new words.

Manage account
Opens the Accounts & Sync settings.

Terms & privacy
Opens Browser to a page with information about the Google Talk terms of use and privacy policies.

Maps
1. Tap Apps --> Accuweather and launch
2. On the top panel, click on Maps --> Maps will launch.

Zoom:
3. Click on "+" and "-" on the bottom left of the maps. Zoom should work properly.
4. Touch on the map and zoom in zoom out and navigation should work.

View:
5. Switch between Map / Satellite and should be switched accordingly. from top left.
6. A.Radar B. Satellite C.Radar/ Satellite views should be displayed correctly.
7. A.Radar & B.Satellite views can be seen as animated by pressing the "Play" button at the bottom.
8. The "Play" button is greyed out for combined Radar/Satellite View. This is working as designed.

Map Key:
9. The Map key should be clicked and the legends should be displayed.

Network disconnected:
10.keep the maps open and disconnect network. The Accuweather app should not force close
Zoom , View and Map key functions should all work fine.

Units:
1. Toggle between Imperial and Metric.
2. The units should switch between Celsius(Metric) and Fahrenheit (Imperial) in current, hourly & other tabs.

Time format:
1. Toggle between 12 Hours & 24 Hours.
2. It should be displayed accordingly in corresponding tabs.

Accuweather:
1. Click on Call us / EMail us does not crash the application.
2. Call us shoud display phone number which can be added to contacts.
3. Click on Email us does not open anything.
4. Click on Terms and Conditions should open link in web browser.
All the settings menu functions like Units and time format should work fine.

1. Tap Apps --> Accuweather and launch

3. Add some location( some other country or place).
4. It should get reflected in all the tabs correctly.
5. The newly added location will be saved in Location tab as well.

Lock a message
You can lock a message so it won’t be deleted if you reach your storage limits. If you try to delete a thread that contains a locked message, you’re asked to confirm that you want to delete it.

Delete old messages
Check to delete older messages in a thread when the text message limit or multimedia message limit is reached.
Uncheck to keep all messages

Text message limit
Touch to set the number of messages to save per thread of text messages. When the limit is reached, older messages are deleted if Delete old messages is checked.

Multimedia message limit
Touch to set the number of messages to save per thread of multimedia messages. When the limit is reached, older messages are deleted if Delete old messages is checked.

Delivery Reports
Check to receive delivery reports for the messages you send.

Manage SIM Card Messages
Touch to open a window where you can work with messages stored on your SIM card—for example, if you used the SIM card in another kind of phone where you exchanged text messages.

Read Reports
Check to receive reports when your messages are read or deleted.

Auto-Retrieve
Uncheck to download only the heading of multimedia messages, which you can then touch to open a menu to download the whole message.

Roaming auto-retrieve
Uncheck to download only the header of multimedia messages when connected to other carrier’s data networks.

Outgoing Settings

3.Tap on Measure --> See the message "Measure Enabled" on screen.
4.When measure is enabled for very first time, it will not be shown immediately on screen. Change the screen orientation and notice the Measure icon on right corner of map & Tap on it.
5.Notice the color change from grey to yellow once you click on it.
6.Now tap on two or more places on map and measure the distance.
7.Now go to Menu Option --> Clear Maps --> Map will be cleared
8.The Measure button turns back to grey. Tap on it again to make it Yellow and start measuring.

4. Google Maps also provide approximate time of travel between the locations also on the Directions window
