Objective:To confirm the wireless quality of the product under testing to maintain good quality even if noisy condition.
CRITERIA
Wireless signal is equal or better than the previous ship level system and not lower.
EUT QUANTITY
Test system and the comparison system (good shiplevel system).

DETAILS
ATTENTION!! Please follow below information.
1. Please check Error and Warning message in Event Viewer before you start the test case and after you complete the test case, and report it to your team lead, then arrange to open defect, if needed.

2. Perform All Test in Battery Mode (Some of the test items need to perform in AC Mode, follow each Test Case).

3. All Test Activity should be performed with AMT Enabled as Default (applicable on vPro enabled systems).

4. Please check Usability / Cosmetic issues (correct sentence/appropriate display/etc.) and open defect, if needed.


Test Procedure

Prepare the Test Set Up, load OS to the Target System.

Install IxChariot Enpoint in DUT

Install target WLAN driver.

Then, set up the Access Point to the desired wireless mode, channel and channel width that will be used for testing.

Connect to the AP from DUT.

Set attenuation to 30 dB on both attenuators.

Using IxChariot in controller PC, load appropriate script to measure throughput and also set appropriate number of pair according to desired wireless mode, then measure throughput and record the result.

Repeat step #6 and increase attenuation to increment of 2. Ping the DUT from IxChariot controller to check connection then perform step #7. Keep on incrementing the attenuation to 2 db until DUT disconnects from AP.
Measure throughput in 2GHz 11n HT-20, 5GHz 11n HT-40 and 5GHz 11ac HT-80.
Criteria
For this test, reference throughput performance will be Wolverine 2 SIT 2. Both Wolverine 2 and Duke uses Intel Stone Peak 7265 AC WLAN NIC.
Duke throughput performance should be equal or better than Wolverine 2.
